Congratulations America

I never thought I would say it but I'm actually proud to say I'm American.
At lease for a day haha.

Martin Luther King Jr.

As I listen to his "I Have a Dream" speech given on August 28, 1963
I'll leave you with this photo of the great Dr.

I believe it speaks for it's self.

Timothy Saccenti

I don't know too much about the man (Timothy Saccenti). But his work put a huge smile across my face. Definitely worth a look!

Don't believe everything you see...

So I woke up early today decided to catch up on some reading and what did I find...

the reality of it is photographers, image consultants and stylists spend a lot of time, energy and money manipulating photos for a desired effect. With a simple click of a button and stroke of a mouse they can remove blemishes, add breast and shave off pounds... point being it's adding to a trend in which we admire artificial beauty. A beauty that doesn't really exist.

Shout out to Epoxy, Mr Talion, Baveux & Kone the artists responsible for this adbuster.
Their handy work can be found at the Kaiserdamm metro station in Berlin, Germany.

Sky's the Limit

"If the game shakes me or breaks me
I hope it makes me a better man
Take a better stand
Put money in my moms hand
Get my daughter this college plan, so she don't need no man

Stay far from timid
Only make moves when ya heart's in it
And live the phrase Sky's The Limit"

Wow this video's pretty amazing. I love how they used children to play everyone in the music video! It's a great artistic move that adds a notion of innocence. I guess in the scheme of things were still children at heart.

I'll be honest I haven't really paid attention to the lyrics yet but still
the song is oh so dope!

Girl got me me stuttering

if she was wearing these!!

Now personally I'd have to say that Skytops are kinda played out ever since Mickey Factz, www.myspace.com/itzmickey, came out with a song about his favorite kicks. But I'm a sucker for girls rocking hightop sneaks :) On top of that the color choice of neon pink and black with bangal pattern accents is dead on.

Be on the lookout for these this Spring!
